Description Pewter, block “C” button-Cavalry. One of several variations of the block “C” button that were widely imported and manufactured domestically by the Confederacy. While technically the regulation Cavalry Officer’s button, this type of button appears on both officer and enlisted uniforms in large quantities. Available in: Large, approximately 7/8″, used on Shell Jackets, Great Coats and Frock Coats. Small, approximately 5/8″, used on Kepis/Caps, Vests, Cuffs, Overcoat Capes, etc.
