24 Beeswax Tealight Candles Our tealights are hand poured with beeswax obtained from our local Lune Valley Beekeepers Floral, fragrant honey aroma with a burn time of approximately 5 hours Never trim the wick of a beeswax tea light, by doing so, it will shorten the tea light’s life because the flame will not become hot enough to melt the wax. This may mean that the flame will burn down the middle of the wax and when it reaches the bottom it will go out leaving wax left stuck to the sides of the cup. The beeswax must be totally liquefied so that the liquid wax is drawn into the wick in order to complete the burn.
