Description The Crown DSi 8Mn is a projection booth monitor designed to work with digital cinema systems using the Crown DSi Series amplifiers. The unit is designed to meet remote-level and remote-audio monitoring requirements and expands upon the standard booth monitor to allow network monitoring of cinema audio for quality control purposes.Network monitoring of a large network operations center allows the manager to monitor auditorium audio from the office. The DSi 8Mn also serves the standard booth monitor purpose of allowing listening to various audio channels through the front-panel speaker or headphones.The front panel and a web browser provide all the controls necessary for the daily operation of the DSi 8Mn. Controls are easily accessible from the front panel or from a web browser interface. Eight-channel monitoring allows you to monitor either the inputs from the cinema processor or the power amplifier’s outputs: L,C, R, Ls, Rs, Lrs, Rrs, and LFEs in any combination.The rear panel provides Phoenix and HD-15 connectors for quick connection to power amplifiers. All inputs and outputs are balanced, and the unit features a universal power supply. There are no special tools required for installation. The built-in VU meter test jack provides the technician with immediate information about the status of the DSi 8Mn and all power amplifiers. The DSi 8Mn includes a power cord.
