Habanos' flagship brand is Cohiba. Cohiba has been on the open market in small amounts since 1982. Four distinct ""Leas,"" or Lines, are included in Cohiba: Lea Clica, Lea 1492, Lea Maduro 5, and lastly, the Lea Behike range. In 2007, Cohiba introduced the Linea Maduro 5 series, which comes in three sizes and is wrapped in a dark maduro leaf that has been specifically aged for five years. On November 4, 1992, during a festival commemorating the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' discovery of the New World, the Cohiba Lea 1492 range was initially revealed at an event at the Captain General's Palace in Havana. The five sizes of the Linea 1492Siglo I, II, III, IV, and V before the sixth was added in 2002were specifically created to commemorate Columbus' 500th anniversary. Each Siglo, which translates to "Century" in Spanish, represents one of the five succeeding centuries.
